I provide advisory and peer-review services related to one or more of the above topics at a national, city and master plan scale. My services also include leading and/or contributing to technical projects and deliverables, ensuring world-class technical excellence and local relevance.
Facilitation and Engagement
I curate and facilitate multidisciplinary planning and design workshops, as well as community and stakeholder engagement events (Arabic and English). I work with clients from the beginning of the process to set clear goals for the session (e.g., arriving at an integrated solution, securing buy-in), discuss level of attendees and representatives, and then deliver tailored sessions and exercises to achieve requirements.
Thought leadership, Research and Training
I am an author, researcher, and international speaker on topics related to sustainable development in Arab cities (Arabic and English). My services in this area include developing technical content through rigorous research and a strong understanding of the GCC / Arab / Islamic context. I also develop and deliver training sessions and academic lectures and courses.
